The Passing of a Legend

It was a sad day yesterday (13/01/2021) for the world of Contemporary dance as Sir Robert Cohan passed away at the age of 95.  We were only, last week talking about him in our dance history lesson.  Please take some time to read more about him as is the timing of him passing coincides with you studying about him.  He made such a significant contribution to contemporary dance in Britain and helped pave the way for us all as students to study dance.  Below is a photo of him in the studio with Laurel Dalley Smith, choreographing a solo for her, way into his 90's!
